Family Rights Group’s parents’ and kinship care panel members have worked together to create this event which is an opportunity to showcase lived experiences, through creative storytelling in order to effect changes to benefit the lives of children, young people and families. They will draw upon creative storytelling skills learnt before and during lockdown in workshops run by SoundDelivery in partnership with Family Rights Group. The workshops included sessions in audio storytelling, blogging, vlogging, public speaking, and also included Q and As with journalists and documentary makers.
This work highlights the importance of all of us listening to and learning from those whose lives are directly affected by our child welfare system.
